Proposal: “In nature”
PITEÅ - IN NATURE envisions quality nature and vibrant urban spaces within reach, enabling harmonious living, working, playing, creating, and enjoying. New districts will bridge barriers, connect programs, and foster relationships to support flourishing ecosystems.
Team
The proposal was a collaboration with ALTA Architecture and three architect students från KTH.
About Piteå
Piteå is a coastal town in Northern Sweden. Due to the region’s leading position in the green industrial transition, the city experiences strong and rapid growth, which requires new housing and infrastructure. The planned railway North Bothnia Line aims to connect the region’s coastal towns.
About Europan
Europan is an architectural and urban ideas competition bringing together European cities and young architects and urban design professionals (under the age of 40). The competition spans over a two year period in which over 50 European cities and over 2000 teams are involved.
